ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: First details on Nathan Fillion – Stana Katic story in ‘The Nose’
Does “The Nose” sound like a classic episode of “Castle“? We’re not sure about that just yet, but it definitely sounds like one of the sillier ones. Any episode that forces you to rely on your sense of smell typically suggests that either you are bringing in a canine presence, or you are actually going to have Rick running around sniffing things. We love dogs, but we have to admit that the other option sounds like the most fun.
Earlier this week ABC unveiled the synopsis for this episode of the first time, including a notable guest star to go along with it:
“When a priceless work of art is stolen and its transporter murdered, Castle and Beckett must work with the key witness to track down the painting and sniff out the killer. With special guest star Stephnie Weir (“MADtv,” “The Comedians”).”
For those wondering when the show is going to pick up more of the story of the first two episodes, our advice would be to look towards episodes 7 and 8 this season for some further information on that. This will be starting to approach the key November sweeps, and we imagine that this is the sort of note that the show would want to leave on before waving farewell until the new year. One thing that does complicate this further this time is simply that the show, as previously reported, is taking a longer hiatus and airing its season in halves. Therefore, let’s hope whatever you get to see this fall (nose-based cases or not) manage to satisfy you.

I will watch and hope that we get Caskett back even if they do not solve Beckett’s problem completely.Get back to the formula that worked them together in love and work, and an occasional visit to Dr.Burke by both of them….he needs him too.
We cannot have Alexis as the new partner she needs to have a life and some Martha and the boys would be great.

Teresita, I, too, love Castle but I am priority driven which is sensible for a life sustaining, solution obtaining and personal relation sustaining way of life. I had considerable hope that the new show runners would be bringing us a plan that would introduce sensibility into the overall plan for the show since the previous show runners did not and began losing viewers with inane story lines like the disappearance of Castle. Now let me explain – the disappearance itself did not bother me except for its timing (it could have occurred at any time other than the wedding). What did bother me was that finding Castle was portrayed as the most important thing for Caskett at the time; however, it soon fell off the scope of importance for close to two years which was totally inane (senseless, of no substance or ideas) for such an important event. Now I see the same thing happening again with the current hiatus (a pause in a continuing activity that will be continued after the pause) in the Caskett marriage. If I were to bet based on what has happened before I would bet that they do not get this issue resolved in season 8.

Let the wha..wha..whining begin..again. Castle’s Fickle Fandom was in a tizzy wondering if there would be a S8. Now it’s in a tizzy into only the 3rd episode because of this, that and whatever. Personally, I love Castle so I will continue to watch the continuing Love Story with it’s trials, tribulations which is like most marriages…you, know that for better or worse stuff. I will trust the Showrunners, writers, directors, producers and ensemble cast. Whoops, I’m saying nice things about Castle. Sorry about that folks. Please continue with your wha…wha…whining…which has become like a b.o.r.i.n.g mob mantra. Switch the channel and find a show or shows that bring you joy and peace. Then wha..wha..whine on that show’s social “me” media. Boo-bye!

Teresita, no whining I stopped watching as many have so when the show is cancelled due to low ratings from bad writing and trying to reset to Becketts mother again .So when that happens don’t whine.

I actually think the show is the best it’s been since season 3.

Enough of these so-called “fun” episodes when there is work of much greater importance that needs to be done. Resolve the problems that Caskett is now facing and then there will be time for “fun” episodes. This is starting to resemble the issue of Castle’s disappearance which, to me, has lost all semblance of any importance so don’t waste any time tying up any of these loose ends. Start setting some priorities of what is important and work the highest priorities this is the sensible way of working issues. As an aside, they are not saying that they will resolve the problems facing Beckett but are, instead, saying that they are going to initiate new twists at the fall finale. What does this say towards the resolution of Beckett’s problem ever?
