Is ‘Chicago Fire’ season 4, episode 1 new tonight on NBC?

Chicago Fire -At the moment, we get it: You really want to see “Chicago Fire” on the air. It makes even more sense that you would want to see it because of just how long it has been off the air.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason NBC just did not think of it as much of a priority to launch this show at the same time as “Chicago PD” this year, and as a result of that, there is no new installment coming on Tuesday night. You are going to have to wait until October 13 to check that out, but trust us when we say that there are going to be some key stories told over the course of that hour … especially with Casey and Dawson.

After the events of the season 3 finale, you’re going to find Casey in need of help, and when he does eventually work his way out of his particularly-precarious position, what you’ll see from there is Dawson delivering the news on her pregnancy. These two will try to make things better for the sake of their new family, but just as you would expect, it is not going to come easily for them.

While all of this is going on, there are a few other important highlights worth noting. Boden will be dealing with a wrestling match for power, and you will see Severide struggle with being placed in a position that is far beneath his skill. It’s a lot for one episode to tackle, but “Chicago Fire” is a show that does possess the sort of serious skill needed to pull this off.
