‘Blindspot’ episode 4 preview: The story for Jaimie Alexander, cast in ‘Bone May Rot’

“Blindspot” is now three episodes into its run on NBC, which is important to us thanks mostly to the fact that we are starting to get an understanding as to what sort of show this is starting to be. It’s a semi-procedural that is all about answers, and an attempt to extrapolate the meaning of all of Jane Doe’s tattoos.

On next week’s new episode entitled “Bone May Rot,” the story is going to take us to a place in the CDC that is most reminiscent of the first season of “The Walking Dead.” You’ve also got Hazmat suits a la “Breaking Bad,” and a new way for Jane’s tattoos to come into play in order to stop a round of biological warfare. The synopsis for this particular story, including a key development for Jane and Weller, is located below:

“Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and her puzzle-expert boyfriend, David, (guest star Joe Dinicol) decode a tattoo clue that sends the team to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). While at the CDC, the team discovers a hidden message on Jane’s body that uncovers a plot that could have catastrophic global consequences. Meanwhile, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) grow closer.”

By the time we make it to the end of this episode, you will probably have an even greater feel for what the producers want to do with this show … though personally, we feel like it will be episode 7 or 8 before things start to truly come alive and we enter the next key part of its season. Once its formula is better established, it can come up with some interesting ways to try and surprise you.
