‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: First look at ‘Devils You Know’

Is the devil you know better than the devil you don’t? This is a classic adage that we’re sure that some of you out there have heard in some various forms, and it also is similar to the title of “Agents of SHIELD” season 3, episode 4: “Devils You Know.”

In terms of specifics, we still do not know too much about this episode just yet, other than the short synopsis shared recently by SpoilerTV:

“Coulson and the team search for the Inhuman who is killing other Inhumans; May feels that Hunter’s mission to take down Ward is getting too personal.”

We can understand why the temptation is there to take down Ward; he’s got the evil history (not to mention Hydra) that make him someone you just want to take down once and for all. Here is the problem: He may be fairly well-protected, but if Hunter, May, or anyone else starts to go at him in too risky a fashion, it could lead to a bloodbath. Nobody seems to want to take on any sort of eye-for-an-eye situation this early on in the season, especially with Coulson and Daisy taking an “all hands on deck” approach to figure out how to round up some of the Inhumans out there in the world who can be recruited to fight for the good guys.

Unfortunately, we’ve already seen that there are plenty out there who don’t exactly have that sort of noble intentions.
