‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 3 preview: ‘All the News That’s Fit to Click’

Is someone out to target police officers on the next new episode of “Blue Bloods”? Once again, there is clearly no rest of the heroic on this show. Right after Danny spent most of Friday night’s new episode obsessing over a serial killer taking out women, he now has to face another significant issue next week (while knowing the killer for that case is still out there): The treat of someone specifically targeting NYPD officers. This is the sort of case that he would love to tackle in the most under-the-radar fashion possible, but here is the real problem: there is no way to be under-the-radar with this. Why is that? Think along the lines of the press being involved in a particularly grisly manner.

“All the News That’s Fit to Click” is the title for the October 9 episode, and we have to wonder if that title is meant to be a deliberate stab at publications who deliberately try to click-bait for the sake of getting people to freak out. Maybe this is something that we are going to see Danny and company have to deal with as they work on trying to get this manner resolved.

The synopsis below does not necessarily address all of our speculation, but it does give you a sense as to who is going to be involved in this story:

“When newspaper reporter Lorenzo Colt (Zachary Booth) is targeted while wearing NYPD gear on a ride-along with Jamie and Eddie, Frank puts Danny and Baez on the hunt for the shooter who may be out for other members on the force.  Also, Garrett contemplates taking another job.”
