‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 19 preview: Riley’s cheerleading goal in ‘Girl Meets Rah-Rah’

Girl Meets Rah-Rah -When we first heard that the title of next week’s new “Girl Meets World” episode was “Girl Meets Rah-Rah,” we had no clue what to think of it, or what the title even meant. Then again, we’re also not a teenager, or have anything to do with high school. This is technically a rally cry for cheerleaders, and this episode will be very much about that. The short synopsis, courtesy of the Disney Channel, is below:

“It’s time for the annual cheerleading tryouts, and Riley is determined to finally make the squad.”

For whatever reason, we find the photo above to be hysterically funny because of the “Vanessa, Call Me” sign. Seeing Maya, Lucas, and Farkle support her in her quest is something that is ultimately just sweet to see. For the most part, cheerleading is the sort of extracurricular activity that is supported by everyone, and Riley having the support of her friends will probably help her to feel better about whether or not she gets to join the squad.

We do know that Riley definitely has the energy to be a cheerleader, but is she going to enjoy the experience? That’s still up for debate, since we don’t know much about the personalities of the other people in the squad. Maybe they are equally quirky and fun, or maybe they are almost robotic in their attitude and obsessed with constant popularity. Trying to fit in with that group is not exactly something in Riley’s wheelhouse, and we’re happy about that.
