‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Rowan Blanchard, cast on Ross Lynch – Laura Marano guest spot

Friday night’s new episode of “Girl Meets World” is a big one, and there are a pair of separate reasons for that. For one, you are getting the return of the Halloween Special courtesy of “Girl Meets World: Of Terror 2,” and to go along with that, you are getting the rare Disney Channel cross-promotion from one TV show to the next.

As you may have heard before, Laura Marano and Austin & Ally are coming over after their time on “Austin & Ally,” and will take part in at least one fun sequence with cast members Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter. You can see all four of them discuss the episode in a new video via HollywoodLife; in the cast of Marano, she was particularly excited about this thanks in part to her being a longtime fan of the “Boy Meets World” series.

Do we anticipate this being a half-hour that is particularly important to the series? Hardly. It is more likely to just be a fun standalone story that appeals to fans who are feeling particularly festive. The one thing that we do find somewhat surprising is that the Disney Channel is going to air this special on Friday, given that we are still more than four weeks away from Halloween. We are not enough of a Disney Channel viewer to know whether or not this is something that they have a tendency to do on a particularly regular basis.
