‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2, episode 3 preview: What’s next for Viola Davis, cast?
At the end of Thursday night’s episode of “How to Get Away with Murder,” another twist was revealed to the already-twisty flashforward regarding Annalise Keating: It just so turns out that Emily Sinclair is at the scene of the incident, and unlike Annalise, she may actually be dead. Keating still has a chance, but a tiny one thanks to so many of her students fleeting the scene of the crime.
Next week, a little bit more will be revealed, but it is not entirely clear just how much that will really be. What we know is that the title is “It’s Called the Octopus,” which we really wish was about some sort of freaky new dance craze but probably is not. The promo and the synopsis below make it clear that sex is a theme, which is only a surprise in that it feels like that’s a pretty significant theme of almost every episode of this show:
“When Annalise takes on a new client, the team must investigate a very high end sex club to get answers. Meanwhile, Annalise is still representing the siblings accused of killing their parents, but the case takes a turn for the worse when a new motive surfaces, and Wes teams up with an unexpected ally.”
Will we circle back to Nate at some point in the near future? We have to assume so, and we do also wonder just what the next move for Eve is going to be. We realize that Famke Janssen was only meant to be a guest spot on the show, but can you really leave her on the note that you did with Annalise and not bring her back for more?
