‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Danny hunts down a serial killer

Blue Bloods season 6Work is never slow when you work for the NYPD, and the sneak peek below from Friday night’s new episode of “Blue Bloods” is something that we would certainly classify as proof of that. Right in the wake of a devastating terror threat in New York City, the Reagans are thrown yet again into crisis, this time thanks to a potential serial killer who is attacking young women in New York City.

The sneak peek takes you inside Danny’s head at least briefly, as we start to get a sense precisely as to how this killer operates, and what they are looking out for. It’s a meticulous process, and one that could eventually put the pressure on Donnie Wahlberg’s character. What happens in the event that this killer decides to make his family someone in the crosshairs? This is something that he has to at least start to consider as a person in authority, and this comes right after his wife was nearly killed during the two-part season finale.

This sort of fear comes with the territory, but still, we wonder if there is ever going to be a preview for an episode entitled “The Reagans Go on Vacation,” given that right now the entire family sorely needs it.

To go along with this particular story, you can also expect to see Friday night more personal developments for the entire family. What was somewhat strange about the premiere was that by and large, it was more about the process, or a series of events that all led to a specific end. It was not so much about what the people had been up to or thinking about since we last saw them. That’s going to start to change.
