‘Supernatural’ season 11: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles welcome ‘Lucifer,’ ‘Legends of Tomorrow’

Supernatural -

While it’s going to be a long time now until either “Lucifer” or DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” air on The CW, the cast and crew of “Supernatural” are doing their part to make them feel entirely welcome on their studio lot in Vancouver.

As you can see from Jared Padalecki’s Twitter post below, he and co-star Jensen Ackles once again prove that they have their “awesome” attribute maxed out as they raise a banner in honor of the two new shows. This sort of thing builds camaraderie between the series, and in turn will probably lead to some more playful banter between all parties on Twitter. The more of that we have, and the happier off we’re going to be in the end.

One of the many wonderful things about the “Supernatural” gang is the relationship-building that they exercise from time to time. Jared and Jensen seem to have a fun rapport with Stephen Amell from “Arrow,” and they’ve certainly spent time over the past six years with Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder from “The Vampire Diaries.” While we’re probably not going to see any “Supernatural” – “Legends of Tomorrow” crossover anytime soon, maybe we’ll at least get Instagram videos or something of the like. Isn’t that enough to make you smile? It should be … at least for now.

“Supernatural” will start up airing on The CW starting on Wednesday night, and for its season 11 premiere, Jensen and Jared are going to have their hands full playing Sam and Dean in great crisis. The Darkness is coming, and it seems to have the unique powers, based on the sneak peek here, of throwing them into a world that is one part “The Walking Dead” and another part “The Leftovers.”
