‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: ‘The Fosters’ star snags mysterious role

On tomorrow night’s new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder,” the latest clues will be presented that get us from point A to point B, with point B of course being the bloodied body of Annalise Keating many weeks in the future. We don’t expect to get anywhere close to all the answers; instead, we will most likely just see further movement in the case of the siblings, who were accused of murdering a parent. Annalise is trying her best to defend them, but mounting evidence could prove this to be a difficult mission for her to achieve.

Got all that? Then prepare to take a left turn. As first reported by TVLine, Sherri Saum of “The Fosters” fame has been brought aboard for a mysterious role in at least one upcoming episode, but there is no word at present as to what that role will be. Like with any other show within the vast umbrella of Shondaland, you are lucky if you get anything close to a casting spoiler other than a name. In doing this, you get some of those crazy jaw-dropping moments like the one we had on Thursday night’s premiere where the full extent of Eve’s history with Annalise was revealed.

Either way, we’re thrilled to see Saum on a very different sort of show with a different audience. “The Fosters” is still fantastic entertainment in its own right, but you’ve come to expect a few things from many of those characters. Changing things up here and there is nice.
