‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9 spoilers: Does Sheldon need a new roommate?

Big Bang Theory -Given how long that Sheldon and Leonard have been roommates on “The Big Bang Theory,” it is hard to imagine the show in many ways without the two of them in the same apartment. Yet, you really cannot have the show continue to put Penny in a separate place when she and Leonard are married. It just doesn’t make any sense. The best you can hope for is continue to have a situation where Sheldon just lives with the two of them, but they’re only going to put up with that for so long. What if they want to have children? It may be nice to have a real one versus an adult who exhibits oft-childish behavior.

Come the show’s October 12 episode entitled “The 2003 Approximation,” you are going to have an opportunity to see a little bit more of what happens when Sheldon realizes that the old way of living is over. Meanwhile, the synopsis below also hints at a unique story coming for Howard and Raj:

“Sheldon learns of an impending change in his living arrangements and decides to revert back to 2003, a simpler time before he met Leonard and Penny. Also, Howard and Raj form a band to play at the Comic Book Store.”

Does anyone else feel like it is obvious that Raj becomes the new roommate? It is something that has been toyed with in the past, but unless the show moves over Stuart and makes him a much larger part of the show, he’s really the only option. We’re also not sure that two people like Sheldon and Stuart can function in the same place. The entire apartment may just fall into decay and shambles.
