‘Ink Master’ season 6, episodes 14, 15 podcast: Jessa, Bart talk Duffy Fortner, Craig Foster eliminations
We are a little late on posting out latest “Ink Master” season 6 podcast for the past two episodes, so we are infusing episode 14 and 15 together! You’re getting a two for the price of one special this week. We lost our last female artist on episode 14, so it looks like we are facing another male winner this year (can a woman ever win this show?), and we also lost Craig Foster, who is someone we have been a huge fan of since season 3. That being said though, we have a final 3 that makes us very happy and any of these three artists are more then worthy of the title.
On this week’s episode of the CarterMatt “Ink Master” podcast, co-founder Jessa Carter and her co-host (tattoo and art expert) Bart will be talking about Duffy’s elimination and if it really matters that the show has never had a female winner. Also was this really Duffy’s time to leave over Kruseman? Both of those portraits needed some serious TLC, but we don’t agree that Duffy should’ve gone home even though we really like Kruseman a lot.
Craig Foster will be a topic of discussion as Bart and Jessa talk about what went wrong for Craig or if he really had a fair chance in this competition at all. Was he getting the Kyle Dunbar treatment where no matter how good his tattoos were they just weren’t going to let him win? Craig has shown that he is versatile this year and went out of his way to correct the mistakes he made in season 3, but to little fanfare from the judges. Why is that?
There will of course be talk of the tattoos with a focus on how Kruseman got away with not having to redo a portrait in the “do-over” challenge, and how much we loved this final “do-over” challenge in general. There was a major game play move by Matt in episode 15 that we can’t help but applaud in the podcast making Matt Jessa’s pick to win, but with Chris playing such a solid game all season, Bart has his money on Chris. Lots of great debates!
