‘Chasing Life’ season 2, episode 13 (finale) spoilers: Could a manuscript change everything?

There have been a variety of interesting story threads that have taken place on “Chasing Life” season 2, but the sneak peek below is one that could have far-reaching implications for the majority of the characters.

In a sense, it is ironic in a terrible way that something related to a manuscript would play such an integral role in the story for April Carver in her family, given how much time she has spent working her own book. Unfortunately, this is one that is on an entirely different subject, and if published, could mean a great deal of trouble. Can this be resolved by the end of the episode? You have to hope so, and for two separate reasons:

1. This is not the sort of cliffhanger that you would want to be left on in between seasons, provided that there is a season 3. It’s not a memorable-enough story thread to us to really use as a selling point, and thanks to that, you’re better off resolving it now.

2. There is so much other business that the show has to deal with, and for April, she may want to have a little bit of closure before she chooses to take off to Italy to begin the next phase of her life. She wants to go somewhere that will allow her to focus a little bit more on her book, and since she does still have the tickets from her botched honeymoon, it is a chance for her to do just that. Given that she doesn’t want any reason to worry, she may not want this hanging over her.
