‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 2 video: Is Harvey Bullock coming back to the force?

On Monday night’s new episode of “Gotham,” you are going to see Jim Gordon back firmly in his element … and also a part of the NYPD. The show just would not be the same without him being there, would it? It’s a part of what makes the man who he is.

However, at the moment it looks as though this may not be what Harvey Bullock chooses to identify with himself anymore. During the show’s premiere last week, we saw that the character (played by Donal Logue) had found himself in a very different position as a bartender. He seems happy with that life, and per the sneak peek below, he is not interested in going back into something that may have been damaging to his psyche. It really does not matter so much whether or not Jim Gordon fancies it if Harvey doesn’t. The two make a great partnership, and while we’re still hopeful that he will find his way, we won’t want to see him miserable.

One other interesting moment in the conversation between him and the new commissioner is over whether or not either one of them ever considered quitting. Sure, it does feel a little bit straight out of some sort of old-school cop movie featured two grizzled veterans fighting for justice, but we’ll allow it. At least these are characters we like, and at least Commissioner Loeb is no longer in power.

We’ll have a full review of this “Gotham” episode up come Monday night, but with talk of their being a significant death at some point during it, we implore you to watch it live! After all, do you really want someone to spoil it for you?
