‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Will Adam survive events of premiere?

Tonight’s episode of “Hawaii Five-0” was a pretty crazy way to start the premiere, especially when you consider that we had everything from (fake) pirate treasure to the not-so-great realization on the part of Kono that without the money that she and Adam had secured, there is no way to escape that Yakuza and the both are more or less dead. It’s a pretty terrible that they just couldn’t have a normal honeymoon; ultimately, weddings on this show (or any crime show, for that matter) just do not tend to end well.

The good news is that the synopsis for the next new episode of the show makes it clear that Adam will still be alive. Not only that, but there is going to be yet another action-packed case courtesy of the return of Randy Couture:

“Five-0 investigates when a bomb squad is attacked and the culprit threatens to detonate additional hidden explosive devices unless arsonist Jason Sinclair is released from prison. Also, after Adam returns from the hospital, Kono realizes that they are being watched, and McGarrett prepares to take his relationship with Catharine to the next level, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.  Former UFC Champion Randy Couture returns as Jason Sinclair.”

There is a lot of time still for the story this season to develop, but we do feel like we have been left off in a fairly interesting place where, for the most part, almost anything can happen the rest of the way. Stay tuned!
