‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3 spoilers: Ichabod Crane heads to unusual place in premiere

Over the years, we have definitely seen Ichabod Crane tackle a variety of unusual surprises on “Sleepy Hollow.” however, the following one may be one of the strangest we have seen to date.

The photo below was shared by the show’s official Twitter account, which certainly is rather interesting since it basically means that they are more than fine with that sort of a spoiler getting out for the entire public to see. Who knew that we were going to see Tom Mison’s character behind bars at any point? Him going for an “Orange Is the New Black” sort of look is something that we definitely did not expect to see, and we are here to offer up at least some explanations for this:

1. Ichabod is going undercover tackling some sort of unusual case that has him working to get into the mind of a criminal.

2. Ichabod may have just done something stupid, and not really understanding modern American law, gotten himself arrested. Then, this could eventually lead to Abbie having to rush in and rescue him in some shape or form. We’re not writing this off.

Regardless of the reason behind Ichabod’s decline in fortune, we still do have to say that we rather enjoy the idea of this story. He is the ultimate fish-out-of-water, and to us there is something incredibly enjoyable that is going to come out of him trying to handle life where he has no option other than following orders.
