‘Jane the Virgin’ season 2 spoilers: First look at premiere!

You have been waiting most like for some time to learn a thing or two about what is next on The CW’s “Jane the Virgin,” but we’ve got some great news for you right now: The waiting is almost over! If you look below, you can at least find out some of what is coming on the upcoming October 12 premiere of the show, which is going to be about everything from Jane’s newfound motherhood to also abduction of all things:

“After Jane (Gina Rodriguez) discovers Mateo’s abduction, chaos ensues, especially when they all learn Sin Rostro is involved and demanding a ransom. Trying to help, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) tweets about Mateo’s kidnapping making the Villanueva family targets of the paparazzi. Despite everything that has happened, Jane must also focus on motherhood and turns to Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Alba (Ivonne Coll) for help, leaving Rafael (Justin Baldoni) feeling left out. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) is conflicted with what to do with Rafael’s remaining sperm sample.”

For this show in particular, the struggle above everything else is going to be strictly trying to find a way to ensure that the expectations from the first season are matched in one way or another, which we know is going to be no easy task. Just remember for a minute or two how popular the first season of the show was, and that will give you an expectation of what the series has to overcome.

Still, they’ve got the writing and the cast to make this happen. Also, they’ve got Gina Rodriguez.
