Let it be known that “The Flash” has no intention to slow down the process of Cisco Ramon becoming a hero. Just like everywhere else on the series, they like to make things speedy.
According to TV Guide, one of the big storylines coming up for the character (played by Carlos Valdes) is him becoming accustomed to the fact that he has these new abilities. You would think in a sense that he would instantly perceive these as a blessing. Why wouldn’t he? Remember for a minute that this is something that in one way or another, he’s always wanted to have probably on a subconscious level. He’s significant, and more than just a guy who likes to hand out nicknames. Sure, he was before, but everyone in life is yearning for that validation.
With that being said, one of the other challenges for Cisco is going to be figuring out how in the world he wants to handle having the powers, and in the early going, he’s going to do something you really don’t expect: Stay quiet. Why? It could be a measure of insecurity, or a fear that despite being grateful for it for a certain extent, he is still afraid of what happens with them. Note that maybe he’ll surprise us and not be grateful at all, but it feels like that would be out of character unless the show really finds a way to sell it.
Now that we know that Cisco is going to be feeling a certain vibe, if you will, the next question is whether or not Caitlin Snow is going to start making things a little frosty.
