‘Big Brother 17’ finale: Clay Honeycutt on Shelli, Steve’s win, more in backyard chat
Even though he has been out of the “Big Brother” house for some time, Clay Honeycutt still had plenty to say in his backyard CBS interview today. He did still have a connection to everything that was going on in the jury, mostly because of his relationship with Shelli. As it turns out, it sounds like he is going to be continuing this for at least a while!
Take a look at some assorted highlights below to check out what Clay had to say with Jeff.
On what he’s been up to – “Actually, a lot. I got to spend time with my family which is always great … I’m going to finish my Masters [at Texas A&M] in a year.”
On seeing Shelli – “It was magical! It was good. It’s been two long months, so it was [nice] to see her. See that pretty face.”
On what’s next for them – “Really there’s not a lot of expectations. We’re going to take it day-by-day. I promised her a date, and [she’s] going to come to Texas.”
On Steve’s win – “I’m happy to win. He’s a superfan and he deserved to win … When he was on the block, he [saved himself]. He won a lot of HoHs in the end.”
On what he would have changed – “Honestly, I would’ve probably stayed with James the first day. He offered me a final two on day one … Getting Jason out really split us apart, because he trusted me from day one.”
On his favorite memory – “The whole experience, but honestly the first moment waking up … Waking up in that house, and it being surreal. ‘Wow, I’m really here.'”
