‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Is Vanessa onto Steve’s plan?

We are now just over a day away from the “Big Brother” finale, but still, we are getting more or less zero inclination that Liz is trying to make an argument to Steve.

However, what we are getting at the moment is an indication that Vanessa and Liz are now at least aware that he is practicing his speech. Liz figured this out last night, relayed it to Vanessa, and Vanessa then claimed that it is somewhat frightening that he is doing that. We feel like for the most part, Vanessa has felt pretty secure that Steve would take her to the end in the event he won the final part of the Head of Household Competition, but we know that this is not happening. We’d say that Steve is making a mistake by practicing this speech, but the reality here is that unless he wins, he’s not going to the end. We don’t get the sense at all that Vanessa wants to take him when she feels like she has a better overall chance to beat Liz.

Ultimately, what makes these final days so interesting and paranoid is that there isn’t really any practicing you can do for the final challenge. There is a part of us that wishes it was a little bit less of a toss-up, but it is what it is. If it is predicting juror responses, then you can argue that there is something good that comes from getting to know people; even still, there are a few questions that are just for the most part educated guesses.

The live feeds are going to go down later today, but don’t worry: We are at least going to have one more update before its over. Then, we’ll preview the finale and talk about potential All-Stars from this season.
