‘The Amazing Race Canada’ finale rankings: Where Gino & Jesse, Nick & Matt, Brent & Sean stand

Nick and Matt -One of the great things about “The Amazing Race” and all of its international offshoots is that there is very little producer interference, and typically whoever makes it to the end deserves it.

With that being said, those of you wanting to see the first woman winner of “The Amazing Race Canada” are probably disappointed in the final three teams … even though we do think this is a pretty solid lineup. All remaining teams have won at least one leg, and there are circumstances in which we could see any of them winning. Of course, there is still a favorite that is hard to dispute when you consider what we’ve seen from the show so far this season.

3. Brent & Sean – We were really impressed by how well they fared this past leg, and we feel like if there is something that requires either performing or some sort of brainpower, they are going to be very good at it. Also, remember that they did beat the wrestlers to a Pit Stop not too long ago, so you do know that they can pull out the athleticism if they need to. Their weakness is probably stamina, or doing anything requiring brute strength.

2. Nick & Matt – They are fairly well-rounded in that they’ve got the experience in front of a crowd to do some of the more choreography-related tasks, but they are also very strong, smart, and athletic. Here’s their issue: Is there anything other than wrestling that is their wheelhouse, where they are guaranteed to be better than the other two teams? Maybe their advantage could come in their relationship; while they don’t have that same bond that brothers do, maybe they won’t feel as much pressure, either.

1. Gino & Jesse – Still, we feel like these guys have the inside track at this. The other teams are basically reliant on them messing something up to win, given that these guys are so much faster and also handier than the other remaining teams. They are probably not the best in more artistic tasks, but how often are those really there in the finale. While puzzles may not always be their forte, we have seen them do well in some of these tasks as well, this season.

Now, it’s your turn: Vote for your favorite in the poll!
