‘Scream Queens’ spoilers: Emma Roberts describes role of Chanel

Monday marks the official beginning of the fall TV season, and there are quite a few series that you should be prepared to sit back and enjoy. “Scream Queens” is, at least for now, just one of the most ambitious. This is a show that is combining horror and comedy and turning it all into an insane production themed around a college sorority. It is also executive-produced by Ryan Murphy, one of the best producers in the business with an eye for freaking people out.

While we do not have a new sneak peek of the show itself right now, we can at least pass along the video below featuring Emma Roberts on “The Today Show” earlier this week discussing the part. She explains a little bit of Chanel’s “queen bee” personality, and also some of what you can expect from the series as a whole.

Roberts is at the forefront of what seem to be a pretty evil array of characters on the show this season, but the question is whether or not she is evil enough to actually kill someone. She may just be mean and/or very nasty.

The full cast of “Scream Queens” include the likes of Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, and such recurring guest stars as Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas. There’s a lot of fun storytelling ahead, and also quite a few scares to go along with it. We’ll have more news as it comes.
