‘Gotham’ season 2: New video all about villains, villains, and more villains

The second season of “Gotham” is going to be coming your way on Fox Monday night, but even before that airs, we are definitely getting a sense of just how the network wants to hype this up: By focusing on the evil-doers so much more than those actually fighting for good.

The video below is mostly cool just from a stylistic point of view, since you are getting to see a wide array of different sides of what appears to be a sculpture, focusing on many of Gotham’s most-noteworthy villains doing what they can to fight for supremacy. In here you certainly see Oswald Cobblepot, Edward Nygma, and Selina Kyle, and we feel at the same time that there are some others that are still a little bit more of a mystery. For example, we’re not 100% sold yet that Jerome is the Joker, as it all feels to be much too obvious. Also, who knows how Barbara Kean really fits into the picture here in the long-term?

The coolest part of this video, at least to us, is actually hearing the voice of Nygma in a way that is reminiscent almost of some of the recent Batman video games. This is the Riddler that we have so much affection for at the moment … at least in a “badass” sort of way rather than a “we’re rooting for him” sort of way.
