‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 1 video: Walter O’Brien returns to work!

“Scorpion” season 1 certainly ended with our leading man of Walter O’Brien in a precarious position, where he was in many ways hanging on for dear life.

However, come Monday night’s season premiere, we are happy to say that we may be seeing him in at least a somewhat more comfortable position. In the sneak peek below, the character is heading back to work, and while he is clearly not 100% just yet, everyone seems particularly enthused to see him. Also, Paige tells him that things have been rather quiet since he departed, which we’re not entirely sure is the case given that we hear fart noises coming from the background at one point.

Before we make it to the end of this episode (entitled “Satellite of Love”), we do imagine that these characters are going to have to explore their feelings a little more than they do in this particular video. We can already sense that there is some sort of awkwardness between the two; we don’t think you use the adjective that Walter does to describe cupcakes to Paige unless there is a little bit awkwardness going on. It makes for a fun moment, and if you are a particularly big fan of the Walter / Paige pairing, it feels already like you’ve got a lot to look forward to this season.

If you are into some of the supporting characters, don’t worry: We’re also hearing that they are also going to have more than a little bit of great material in their own right.
