Emmys 2015: Viola Davis, Zachary Levi, Margo Martindale among final list of presenters
Can you believe that the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards are just about upon us? Yes, that means that in a mere matter of one day’s time, we are probably going to have a chance to rant and/or rave about some of the choices made by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Until then, why not give you the final (and impressive) list of people who are presenting at the big awards show on Sunday night? Friday, the Academy announced that some of the newest presenters include Adrien Brody, Mel Brooks, Reg E. Cathey, Viola Davis, Joan Cusack, Colin Hanks, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Zachary Levi, Margo Martindale, Ben McKenzie, Fred Savage, Eric Stonestreet, and Bradley Whitford. Most of these nominees are expected, but we are really thrilled to see that Brooks made this list, given his status as a modern-day living legend.
These names join the group of people we’ve got below, which is a rather extensive group of people (with many of whom bearing Fox connections, which makes sense given that the awards are airing there this year): Jaimie Alexander, Anthony Anderson, James Corden, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tina Fey, Will Forte, Lady Gaga, Ricky Gervais, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Marcia Gay Harden, Lena Headey, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, LL Cool J, Mindy Kaling, Jimmy Kimmel, Rob Lowe, Jane Lynch, Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Amy Poehler, Emma Roberts, Gina Rodriguez, Tracee Ellis Ross, Liev Schreiber, Amy Schumer, John Stamos and Kerry Washington.
Hopefully, there will be some other great Emmy news coming up before the start of the red-carpet pre-show; be on the lookout!
