‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ premiere preview: Prepare with some new videos!

Now that we’ve spent a solid three weeks analyzing every single contestant on the upcoming season of “Survivor,” isn’t now the right time to actually get to the show itself? To a certain extent, these are want the two videos below are all about.

1. Generic preview – This one was first posted a couple of weeks ago, but we admittedly didn’t want to look at it for a while, mostly out of fear that there was going to be something in here that influenced our impression of what was going to happen. Luckily, we do feel like CBS is pretty good at cutting together promos, and there’s not too much you can figure out here. The majority of the footage from the show is from the very first day, which is of the marooning-of-sorts that takes place where tribes rush to get together some supplies. For all of the old-school fans, there could be an element of nostalgia here.

2. Jeff Probst cast assessment – This is something that has become in some ways a tradition with this show over the years. These are mostly entertaining for the reminder that Probst is just like all of us. Namely, he makes really bold predictions and gets a ton of stuff wrong every single year.

Also, this particular time around we have a tough time buying into Probst’s comments given that he said before the season even started to Entertainment Weekly: There are five people who probably cannot, and some of the people he chose probably will not make you thrilled.
