‘The Fall’ season 3: Production time for Jamie Dornan, Gillian Anderson cast; plus, rumors
It has been some time since we have had much to report on when it comes to “The Fall,” and there is good reason for that. The series has not been on the air in 2015, and the cast has not been anywhere close to production. Gillian Anderson has been working on “The X-Files” and “Hannibal,” while Jamie Dornan has had a variety of different film projects lined up.
However, we are finally starting to near the time so many have been waiting for: The start of production in November. We don’t have a precise date yet for when work will take place in Belfast, but you can expect to see Dornan, Anderson, and more back in action. Even though the future for Paul looked bleak at the end of season 2, clearly he’s going to find a way to still be a key factor in the show.
Now, let’s talk for a moment about a rumor: Is Colin Morgan going to be back as Tom Anderson? There is a report over at TVWise suggesting that he will be, but we have not heard official confirmation on the subject just yet. All we can say for now is that we’d love to have him back, much in the way that we want the entire principal cast back. That includes Archie Panjabi, and thanks to her no longer being a part of “The Good Wife,” she may have some more room in her schedule this fall when she would be typically working on the CBS drama.
“The Fall” season 3 is set to air in Britain and Ireland in 2016, and we’ll have more news as it comes out over at the link here! As for America, it will probably launch on Netflix a few months after it airs overseas.
