‘Jessica Jones’ spoilers: New photos show off Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter as Luke Cage
Now that we know that November 20 is going to be the premiere date for Netflix’s upcoming Marvel adaptation “Jessica Jones,” there is one thing left for the streaming service to do: Release as many new teasers as they possibly can for the series.
Today, this comes to you in the form of new promotional photos, which tease Krysten Ritter’s title character alongside “666 Park Avenue” and “Charlie’s Angles” alum Rachael Taylor and “The Good Wife” actor Mike Colter, who is going to star in “Luke Cage” not too long after the first season of “Jessica Jones” comes to pass.
For those who haven’t heard, Ritter’s character is a former superhero who, after many failures and struggles, opens up a private detective agency to help with superhero-related issues. David Tennant (“Doctor Who”) is going to star as Kilgrave, one of her most notorious enemies who has a history of physical and mental torment.
If this show turns out anywhere near as interesting or exciting as what Marvel did with “Daredevil,” we imagine that there will be a lot for people to be excited about in the end. We just have to wait for the show to actually get there, and for a real trailer to come our way. So far, all we’ve seen is a teaser promo that really did not give anything away about the show. Sooner or later, we feel like Netflix is going to have to present a promo that is more substantial, if for no other reason than that they have to tell people who aren’t internet readers or comic fans what the story is about.
