‘Doctor Who’ season 9 spoilers: Check out all of the upcoming episode titles!
While you may have to wait until Saturday to see the season 9 premiere of “Doctor Who” on BBC One / BBC America, the waiting is already over when it comes to getting some of the titles for many of the upcoming episodes this season!
In a post on Twitter, the show revealed officially the names of every installment coming, beginning with “The Magician’s Apprentice” and ending with “Hell Bent.” Judging from the way that many of these are linked, it is pretty clear that the show is going with the two-part format almost the entire season. Our favorite title of the group is probably “Face the Raven,” mostly because of the sole fact that it reminds us simultaneously of both “Game of Thrones” and Edgar Allan Poe.
Of course, none of these come close to “Death in Heaven,” which has to be our favorite title of the past few years (even though “Listen” remains our favorite from the eighth season).
Overall, we do think that this is a really cool way to share titles; it’s like giving spoilers without really giving spoilers. It is also nice that you of course had Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor front and center here making the “shh” signal, even though this is not even closely a secret whatsoever.
We’re of course going to have more news related to the show every step of the way, but based on what we’re hearing all season long, this is going to be a lot of fun!
