‘The Amazing Race Canada 3’ episode 11 preview: The road to finale goes through Edmonton
If you thought things were starting to get heated on “The Amazing Race Canada” going into this week’s episode, wait until you see where the show goes from here. While we cannot speak much yet as to the content of the finale, we may have one of the most intense final-four episodes we’ve seen next week, when the show heads up to Edmonton, Alberta.
The preview that aired after Wednesday’s episode showed a lot of surprising events in particular: Tears, shouting matches, and seemingly Gino & Jesse stealing Nick & Matt’s cab. We also see Ope proclaiming that “two wrongs don’t make a right,” and we wonder almost if the wrestlers then tried to take their cab or something to stay alive on the show. Eventually, we see Simi break down at one point along the course.
Over the season the editors have done a great job showing the wrestling-match-of-sorts between Gino & Jesse and Nick & Matt, and this may be starting to hit its peak. Neither wants to go up against the other in the finale, so they will probably do whatever they can to get the other eliminated.
What’s interesting is that through all of the rubble and the arguing, Simi & Ope are the most likable team remaining, but probably also have little to no chance of actually winning the season. Right now it feels like it is Gino & Jesse’s to lose, but we give the wrestlers a slight chance and then Brent & Sean and even smaller chance.
As for the return of the Face-Off twist next week, we’re really not much of a fan. It didn’t work well the first time, so we don’t really see the need to bunch teams up.
