‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 11 will feature all-new intro
While you may be waiting until at least January in order to see the final ten episodes of “Pretty Little Liars” season 6, hopefully this following bit of news will help to make up for it: You are going to have a chance to see a completely new introduction!
According to executive producer Marlene King (see the tweet below), there is going to be a completely new introduction for the rest of the season, and we imagine that this is also going to carry into season 7 since the show has already been renewed for that. Ultimately, there are multiple reasons why this makes sense:
1. Everyone knows that Alison is not dead; she hasn’t been for some time, and the implication was for many years that it was her in the coffin, and the rest of the Liars were moving forward without her.
2. The central mystery established during the pilot of the show is, at least for the most part, wrapped up. There are a few mysteries that remain (such as who killed Mrs. DiLaurentis), but they don’t tie back to the theme song.
3. Ultimately, that intro is more than a half-decade old! It’s nice to have Lucy Hale and the rest of the cast film something new now that they are a little older.
4. We also assume that now, Sasha Pieterse is going to be featured in the intro, as well, given that Ali is such a key part of the show. Could we also see Janel Parrish? It’s at least possible…
