‘Poldark’ season 2: First look at Aidan Turner on set

Last week marked the conclusion of the preparation for “Poldark” season 2, and this meant only one thing come this week: The official start of filming!

Monday marked the official start, and we’ve got some great photos for you HERE to check out of Aidan Turner and a pair of other memorable cast members on set starting up work in costume. It is nice to see everyone back and enjoying the work, given that this is something that they are going to doing quite a bit of moving forward.

Ultimately, there are several different reasons why the cast and crew would be enjoying work so much already:

1. The weather – Look how sunny it appears? This is the perfect time climate-wise, with it being around 18 degrees Celsius today and for the next few. (Granted, there is some rain coming, but they can enjoy this for now.)

2. The scenery – Just look at the coastline and the rolling hills. It is pretty hard to imagine that someone would be depressed having to spend a lot of time in the area.

3. The camaraderie – The cast clearly seems to enjoy one another’s company, which is good given that filming will take place for the next several months with only a few stops along the way.

You’re still going to be waiting for a long time to see the ten-episode second season, with it likely starting up at some point in either March or April depending on what the BBC desires. Luckily, we’re going to be here to provide as much coverage as possible every step of the way.
