‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ video: When a mattress comes to life

“American Horror Story” is one of those shows that can really cite a variety of different things as its “claim to fame.” One of them is managing to get a wide array of super-impressive people onto your show. What’s another one? It is as simple as releasing so many bizarre, innovative promos like the one that we have for you below.

This new promo is about what is certainly a form of sleepwalking. Apparently, we’ve got someone within a mattress wandering around a hotel and looking incredibly creepy in the process. While we’re not going to say that this is necessarily scary, we do think that it is a little bit eerie and not particularly pleasant to look at. Personally, we consider that just about as good as “scary” no matter how you look at it. You cannot really freak too many out in commercial breaks on such a level that they don’t really want to watch.

As a whole, we are hearing that the plan for this season is to make it more akin to the first season “Murder House” in terms of the number of scares, which is great given that we’ve considered the past two years to be a little bit on the cheesier side. They’ve had great moments, but they’ve also had a number of times where the story really went a little all over the place.
