ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: ‘The O.C.’ alum involved in upcoming case
While there has been at least a little bit made at this point about the first two episodes of the upcoming eighth season of “Castle,” we feel like for the most part, the stories beyond them have been kept under wraps. The only thing we can say for now with relative certainty is that we believe that you are going to get a great chance to see some more of what you love about the show: Intense cases, fun storytelling, and of course character-building with the likes of Castle, Beckett, Esposito, and the rest of the cast. Where would the series ultimately be without these things? Even though there are changes this time, there are still a few things that are going to remain the same.
We like to think of the following casting news as something to at least help you to see that there are some old-school cases coming. According to Entertainment Weekly, former “The O.C.” star Kelly Rowan is going to be guest-starring on at least one episode of the show as Carla Feller, a dean at a top university where a student is found dead.
Is she going to be a suspect? We’d be silly to suggest something like that based on limited information, but we do at least know that she will have a big part to play in the episode. Ultimately, we’re thinking of this role being in some ways a balancing act: She wants to be sympathetic to this student and his family, but at the same time has to be aware of her duties to the university and she will be out to protect that.
“Castle” premieres on ABC September 21, and we figure we will have even more news on the subject of the show soon!
