Is ‘Hell on Wheels’ season 5, episode 8 new tonight on AMC?

Saturdays over the past month and a half have been fantastic for “Hell on Wheels,” as we have gotten closer and closer to the end of Cullen Bohannon’s journey. By the end of last week’s episode, we finally did see Naomi again! Unfortunately, we had to wait to see her front and center for what could be a very-deadly scene regarding The Swede, who has been exposed for his plan to have Phineas kill Brigham Young, on the run and completely uninhibited.

Don’t you want to see what comes next? So do we, but you’re going to be waiting for a little while. There is no new episode on AMC tonight, and there will not be more than likely until next summer. We’ll hopefully get a chance to figure out at some point next year when the show will return … and this is the woe of having the split-season format. We don’t really love it for the reason that you get the show in such small doses, though we are at least happy to have seven more hours of the show still to enjoy in 2016.

Until then, there’s not too much to do other than wait. Historically we know how the story of the railroad ends in America; however, there is still intrigue when it comes to Cullen, Eva, Durant, and many of the other characters.
