‘Chasing Life’ season 2 spoilers: First details on ‘Ready or Not’

We are starting to near the end of “Chasing Life” this summer, and there is an interesting question worth being asked about where the story is ultimately heading. Just think about for a minute about what happened a few weeks ago with Leo, and how that probably has to be the season’s emotional peak. You cannot really top that when it comes to a surprising, stunning reveal, and now the next course of action is probably just finding some other sort of way to end things for the time being. We don’t know what the show’s future is beyond this summer, so can we hope for at least something a little less depressing?

We do not have details yet on the upcoming finale, but we can tell you a little bit about the September 21 installment “Ready or Not,” which will be the penultimate one of the summer. Take a look at the synopsis below for some news on a major rivalry:

“Ellie Pratt and April have a long-standing history of rivalry, despite being friends in college. Ready to put this behind her, April is delighted to spend time with Ellie during her visit to Boston – that is, until she discovers why Ellie is there to begin with.    

“Meanwhile, Beth is faced with troubling news that threatens her career and relationship.”

We have to admit that other than Beth’s story, nothing really in here sounds like something indicative of an episode approaching the finale. Maybe the show wants to go out on a happier note, or they are just hiding some of their cards for now…
