‘Girl Meets World’ season 2 spoilers: Mark Cuban aboard for guest spot

If you’ve watched Mark Cuban on “Shark Tank” or at basically any Dallas Mavericks game ever, then you know that this is a guy ready to take on the world. Therefore, doesn’t it make sense in some strange way for him to appear in the “Girl Meets World” universe, where those same words are echoed in the theme song just about every episode?

In a post on Twitter, Cory Matthews himself in Ben Svage posted a photo of himself alongside Cuban on the set of the show. It’s not entirely clear at the moment just how he is going to be involved, but we would have to imagine that you would want him to play himself. He’s the sort of guy who could teach one of the show’s trademark lessons, but he’s got a good sense of humor as well and could be involved in something fun.

“Girl Meets World” has shifted its focus ever so slightly during its second season, and has used more celebrity cameos and also appearances from original “Boy Meets World” stars. In many ways, we feel like all of these moves are smart. They help to further ensure that the older crowd sticks with the show, and clearly young viewers still have plenty in here to like, as well.

For the time being, though, “Girl Meets World” is on hiatus. It will return with new episodes on the Disney Channel Friday, September 11 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time. Hopefully, we will have some more news soon.
