‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ finale spoilers: Jared Haibon’s doubts; a huge Rose Ceremony
At the end of Monday night’s “Bachelor in Paradise” episode, Ashley Iaconetti claimed that she was going to pull one of the biggest moves in the history of the show, snatching a date from Chris Harrison with a fantasy-suite component as a way to ensure that Jared Haibon got away from newcomer Jaclyn Swartz. It was a bit move and a preemptive strike to ensure that nothing happened between the two of them.
So where are we going moving into Sunday’s finale? We’re not going to say too much about Jared and Ashley for those of you who are spoiler-free, though we will at least utter this: It will be every bit as dramatic as would would expect for something with Ashley involved. Drama is sort of her M.O. on this show.
Just in case you wanted a few more details about another facet of the finale, there is going to be one of the biggest rose ceremonies ever before we get to the final part of the competition, where just a handful of couples will try to figure out whether or not there is a real future for them:
“The night of Paradise’s final cocktail party, to everyone’s shock, Chris Harrison cancels the cocktail party and announces the group will be heading directly into the rose ceremony. He explains that only those in committed relationships, and those who truly still see the potential for love, should continue on in Paradise. In what becomes the largest round of eliminations in Bachelor history, startling decisions are made, resulting in eight disenchanted people exiting Paradise, once again unlucky in love.”
Sure, there’s hope that any of the eliminated people could even find love with someone from this franchise … just not on this show. For some out there, this may be for the best.
