‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6 spoilers: ‘Falling Skies’ alum to romance McGarrett

The sixth season of “Hawaii Five-0” is going to be premiering on CBS this September, and it looks like Catherine is not going to be the only person romancing Steve McGarrett at some point in the upcoming episodes.

According to Deadline, Sarah Carter is coming aboard the series fresh off of the end of “Falling Skies” and will be playing the part of Lynn. She is a nature-lover who unexpectedly falls into a little bit of trouble, and does so while in the middle of a date with McGarrett.

Given that Michelle Borth is appearing early in season 6 as Catherine once again, are we meant to infer here that there is some trouble in paradise for the characters? It’s really hard at the moment to read that in any other way, since we don’t see McGarrett stepping out on her. However, introducing Carter to the show does not necessarily mean that Borth is leaving forever, as there could just be some unexpected twist that somehow enters the fray.

Ultimately, one way or another we imagine that there is really not going to be all that much time in the first place for the show to focus on romantic storylines. “Hawaii Five-0” ultimately has so many other priorities, and the cases are probably going to be at the top of the list. There’s probably some exciting stuff coming up in the department, but for the time being the producers are being super-coy on what some of that will be.
