2015 MTV VMAs: Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, Nicki Minaj among winners
Tonight, the MTV Video Music Awards definitely received a heck of a lot of attention, but of course we know that not everyone out there was really that invested in the winners. Instead, for many it was all about just figuring out whether or not anything crazy was going to take place over the course of the night.
Regardless, we wanted to bring to you the list of winners on the night, even if we feel like it was for the most part a pretty predictable affair. For example, didn’t we all know that Taylor Swift was going to win a ton of awards for “Bad Blood”? It was the video that featured probably the biggest budget, the biggest effects, and the most star cameos. It also is the one that the industry has been talking about for a long time.
There were quite a few awards that actually weren’t even passed out during the show itself, mostly because that’s probably perceived as too boring. Therefore, we’re here now
Video of the Year – Taylor Swift, “Bad Blood”
Best Male Video – Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, “Uptown Funk”
Best Female Video – Taylor Swift, “Blank Space”
Artist to Watch – Fetty Wap, “Trap Queen”
Best Pop Video – Taylor Swift, “Blank Space”
Best Rock Video – Fall Out Boy, “Uma Thurman”
Best Hip-Hop Video – Nicki Minaj, “Anaconda”
Ultimately, Taylor is the clear winner of the major categories, but if you are a fan of a few others, you also had a reason to celebrate this crazy night.
