‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: The Ashley Iaconetti – Jared Haibon ‘date’ for the ages

For the most part, it’s tricky to be into “Bachelor in Paradise” as much this season as it has been in the past. There are just too many people on the show at this point, and with so many new arrivals we barely remember from their first season / really don’t care too much about, it is hard to wrap your brain around the show.

Luckily, at least there is going to be some major drama Monday night revolving around two people who have been there since the beginning in Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti. For some reason, Ashley is still intent on making this work, and the arrival of Jaclyn Swartz (and her subsequent interest in him) is going to cause her to be even more motivated. “That same night a feisty new arrival, Jaclyn, arrives to Paradise ready to stir up the drama. She quickly sets her sights on Jared, who has long been claimed by Ashley I. Forced to take drastic measures, Ashley I. asks Chris Harrison for an unprecedented favor — an overnight fantasy suite date. With a date card in hand, Ashley I. quickly whisks her unenthusiastic man away before Jaclyn can sink her claws into him. Could Ashley I.’s infatuation with Jared lead her down a path she’s never experienced?”

By the time we’re at the end of this episode, let’s just hope that there is finally some resolution here … and now, we don’t think that she is going to lose her virginity on the show. It’ll probably just be discussed.
