‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 3 spoilers: First look at ‘The Good Wife’ alum Archie Panjabi!

There are a variety of reasons to look forward to the third season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” and while many of them have to do with the story itself, there’s also something great coming in terms of guest stars! For the first example of this, just take a look at the photo above (via TVInsider) and remind yourselves that Archie Panjabi is going to be a part of the story. This should be a very different role than she played on “The Good Wife,” and that is a part of the fun.

Here, Panjabi is playing a Staten Island cop by the name of Lieutenant Thakurta, and based on what executive producer Dan Goor tells the aforementioned site, there’s going to be a certain affinity that she has for Charles Boyle:

“She has flirted with Charles at the last three police funerals they attended … She’s pretty laser-focused on Charles, which worries some of his colleagues.”

Why would some of the other colleagues be worried? One of the principal reasons for that is simply that they may feel like he is being used in some way, or that she has some sort of terrible ulterior motive. It’s still to be seen whether or not this is actually true.

The show is going to premiere on Fox next months, and given that we are just a mere matter of weeks away at this point, we imagine that there will be a chance for some other fun, hilarious stuff in the near future. Stay tuned!
