‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: Does Ashley Iaconetti really want to lose her virginity to Jared Haibon?

If nothing else, someone has really told Ashley Iaconetti how to get airtime on a show like “Bachelor in Paradise” season 2: Cry frequently, stay interested in someone who doesn’t seem that interested in you, and then demand an overnight date from Chris Harrison.

This is precisely what happens in the sneak peek below for this week’s episode (specifically, this seems to be happening on Monday) in the E! News preview below. This video focuses largely on Ashley realizing that she needs to make a BIG move to ensure that newcomer Jaclyn (who is certainly familiar for those who know this franchise) doesn’t come in and snatch Jared away. She basically demands to Chris that she gets a date card that has a fantasy suite component, just to ensure that nothing happens.

Of course, this is being spun right away into “Ashley is losing her virginity!” and all of those sort of stories that are good for hyping up the show, but we’re not sure we are at that level just yet. Just because she gets the fantasy suit doesn’t mean that anything will happen, and to a certain extent it feels like these comments are being made so that this TV show just becomes even crazier than it already is.

The reality for Ashley on “Bachelor in Paradise” is still the same: She really should just let this whole thing go now with Jared, since nothing is probably ever going to happen. If he’s not really that down for it on a reality TV show where there is almost nothing else to do other than date, what makes you think that he will be game to do something in real life?

Hey, if nothing else, ABC gets a great TV moment out of this…
