‘Under the Dome’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Will everyone even make it to finale?
It is somewhat strange to think that here we are, just a mere two episodes away from the dome on “Under the Dome” potentially being no more. Sure, we realize that there is a way for the show to continue on even without it being a part of the narrative, but wouldn’t it be a bit strange to anyone else?
Ultimately, next week’s episode is going to set up pretty well the big finale, and hopefully is going to help us completely ignore some of the things about Thursday night’s episode that did not make a whole lot of sense. Specifically, we are referring here to the show getting rid of Eva so soon after the whole story about her kid was made a big deal.
You can check out the synopsis for this upcoming episode, if you haven’t seen it already, below:
“When the Dome’s calcification process accelerates, Chester’s Mill has 24 hours before the barrier’s breakdown will suffocate everyone inside. While the new deadline puts added pressure on Joe to bring the Dome down, Barbie and Julia race to save his child from The Kinship. Also, Big Jim tries to manage the increasingly volatile Hektor (Eriq La Salle), who is adamant that infected townspeople never escape the Dome.”
When the dust settles, we really hope more than anything that the next few episodes of “Under the Dome” help to offer up some sort of closure to what has really become a bit of a mess at times. We do care about Barbie and Julia, and we at least want to see some of these characters happy in the end.
