‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 3 spoilers: ’24’ alum Mary Lynn Rajskub set to appear
Is Charles Boyle’s love life about to be impacted in a huge way on the upcoming third season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”? We’re not willing to say that just yet, but we can at least say that someone is coming who will be a key target of some advances.
According to a new report from TVLine, “24” star Mary Lynn Rajskub (who you know for playing Chloe on the long-running show) is going to appear in at least one episode and possibly more as Genevieve, an art gallery owner who Boyle will feel is destined to be his love for life. Given his appreciate for the finer things in life, even if he at the same time has a habit for doing some things that are rather gross, it is not really much of a surprise that he would be interested in her romantically. Whether or not she actually reciprocates some of these feelings remains to be seen.
For now, let us just say that we’re excited about this casting, mostly because we don’t really think many people understand just how funny Rajskub is even though she’s been in comedy for so long. This will be a great venue for her; plus, anytime that you can give Boyle someone to obsess over, it typically ends really badly for him but really great for us.
The third season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” premieres on Fox next month, and in addition to seeing this story, you will also potentially get a great chance to see how Jake and Amy handle their relationship evolving so much from where it was the first two years. Also, Bill Hader will be the new Captain … at least for one episode.
