MTV’s ‘Scream’ finale spoilers: Will the killer finally be revealed?

Come Tuesday night, the time for waiting is over for all of those out there who are watching MTV’s “Scream“: The answers are going to start coming in … hopefully. The fact that the finale is titled “Revelations” is a pretty good sign, as is that there is not really a synopsis or really anything else to look at in regards to what could be coming up on the show just yet.

The promo below is not the most revealing one in the history of the world, but what it does give away for the time being is mostly that there are several Ghostface counters coming up, more violence, and particularly some jaw-dropping moments that will really have you interested to see how the show ties things up.

Yes, we know at this particular point in time that Piper is really everyone’s lead suspect, and that is precisely why we are hoping that somehow, the show finds a way to circumvent most of our predetermined expectations and completely surprises us with what they manage to uncover.

As for some other big moments, we’re actually mostly interested in seeing how they set up the second season. Is there going to be a completely new mystery, one where a new side of the Ghostface character is shown off, or someone else is in the mask? Or, are you just going to find a way to continue this one? Let’s just hope that this is not a finale like season 1 of AMC’s “The Killing,” which really just served to continue the mystery.
