‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: Viola Davis lays out the landscape

Season 2 of ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder” is going to be coming on the air come Thursday, September 24, and who better to tease up a little bit of the story than someone in Viola Davis who has brought so much energy to the show in the first place?

Davis is making some of the Emmy rounds now to promote her (sensational) performance on the series, and in a chat with Deadline, the actress explained a little bit about just how crazy the story is going to be from the very beginning, which in turn bodes well for almost everything that comes after that:

“One thing I can share with you is it starts off with a bang. A lot of the mysteries will be solved and answered, and then absolutely a new one will be presented. It’s just so complicated and fascinating, and that happens in the first episode. Then you’re going to get a lot more insight into the past of every character. And so, you can understand why these people have been put together in some kind of weird cosmic way, because I’m a person that actually believes that people find each other, like minds find each other.”

The one thing that we are absolutely confident about is that Davis will continue to be excellent in the role. She delivers in everything that she is a part of, and we’re really not sure that there is another character on TV right now in Annalise Keating who is so intelligent, cunning, and also sympathetic at the same time.
