‘Suits’ season 5, episode 10 (summer finale) preview: Who could leave the firm?

If you have not seen the promo below for the “Suits” summer finale, then there is one part of this that you really need to be aware of: The part that teases that it is “all going to be over for someone” by the time Wednesday night’s episode ends. No, we don’t think that you should grab a shovel and start burying a character. However, we do think that someone we know and care for will probably be leaving Pearson Specter Litt by the end of the hour.

Who are the top candidates at the moment? Let’s examine some of the possibilities.

Mike – So long as he continues to lie about his education, he is putting off the inevitable. We just cannot see this series coming to a close without him either getting found out, or making some sort of effort to ensure that he never gets found out. He is feeling the heat of his past decisions right now more than ever with the wedding coming up.

Jessica – Jack Soloff and Daniel Hardman are trying to take back over the firm. If this happens, Jessica Pearson would be an easy casualty. We don’t want to see her life fall apart, but we would be interested in seeing more of her life without the firm.

Harvey – Could Harvey consciously decide to walk away? This is something that could come from his therapy sessions, and also the fact that Forstman is back.

Donna – Maybe she’s just tired of all the Harvey / Louis drama. We really could not blame her at all.

Louis – It’d be a little surprising given how hard he fought to stay last season, but anything’s possible.

Rachel – Probably the least likely. We just don’t see what the reason would be.

Jack – Would the show really hype up the exit of a recurring character?
