‘Twin Peaks’ spoilers: David Lynch brings back original composer
There are many reasons why the original “Twin Peaks” is thought of as so iconic, and the music is a big part of it. Luckily, David Lynch has managed to secure officially the man who was responsible for making this such a success: Angelo Badalamenti.
According to a new report coming in from TVLine, Angelo has been brought in once again to score the revival of the series for Showtime, which is going to be made starting this year.
There are still many mysteries out there when it comes to this series, though, and we’re not even talking about the story itself. First and foremost, many of the reports about official episode counts are somewhat stretched, at best. This is really a situation where the network is giving them some flexibility to make however many they feel the story ultimately needs. To go along with that, we can say more or less the same thing about the show’s cast. We know that many favorites are going to return, but for the most part it’s been far too early for the show to hammer out the details.
The final mystery is simply one about the premiere date. Nobody knows for certain yet just when the series is going to be coming on the air! We feel the likely scenario is that we’re not going to be seeing it hit the airwaves for a long time, and that is part of the reason why everyone is taking their time making official announcements.
